A computer is similar to a car whereby it is made out of different parts. In pc terms these parts are known as computer hardware. While software helps the computer run different applications, you can't just have a casing with no computer hardware inside. For the computer to run you have to have certain computer parts within the casing. These computer parts will then all come together to get the computer up and running.
Like most things in life you have many choices when purchasing computer hardware. Of course there will be a few basic items that you will need such as your CPU or motherboard. But the type or the model that you buy will of course determine the capabilities of your computer. Apart from that, there are extra computer accessories you can purchase to improve on your pc's basic functions.
